Entry is a hardcore punk band from Los Angeles known for their ferocious energy, raw intensity, and uncompromising sound. After cutting their teeth in the DIY scene with self-released cassettes and relentless local shows, they dropped their debut 7′′ No Relief in 2017. Their breakout LP Detriment followed in 2020 on Southern Lord Records, establishing their core lineup and solidifying their reputation for fast, aggressive, and emotionally charged music. In 2023, Entry released Exit Interview on Convulse Records, followed by a U.S. tour and a support slot for Converge on their West Coast run. With a sound rooted in classic hardcore and driven by modern urgency, Entry delivers powerful, cathartic live performances that leave a lasting impact.

ODD MAN OUT (straight edge hardcore, Seattle, USA – Indecision Records)

Odd Man Out began as an idea in 2008 at San Francisco St house in Olympia WA. A small group of friends were frustrated with their peers losing The Straight Edge and decided to make a call to arms. The vision was modern hardcore meets Straight Ahead, Judge, and Confront but quickly morphed into its own monster.

Their latest album, ‘Conviction’, is the first new recording from the band since 2019 and they are eager to get out on the road as much as possible in support of the new album.

Odd Man Out supports a lifestyle that informs and inspires all forms of life. Although the language in the name suggests masculinity we admire and embrace all spectrums of love, sexuality, and identity. Odd Man Out supports a positive interaction with YOUR world and YOUR life, and encourages every struggle against socialized oppression and capitalism.

BRAVE OUT (youth crew hardcore, Osaka, JP – Fired Stomp Records)

Formed in 2012 by local scenesters Yoshikawa (vocals) and Paddi (bass), Osaka’s Brave Out were based on the foundation of its members’ 80s hardcore and fastcore niche roots, but showcased their take on the youth crew style.

Brave Out stands out as one of the best youth crew bands the last years. The sound of the band is clearly inspired by the youth crew revival sound of bands like The First Step, Mindset, Praise, etc., blended with some great melodic guitars not unlike Shelter.

“We are basically influenced by original 88 Youth Crew; Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits, and so on. But we also love Boston hardcore and Lockin’ Out Records, before and after 2010s”.
