The Earwurms wants to celebrate their album release with you!!!! plonk is their newest album which is a project filled with love and experimentation. Alongside their friends the night will be filled with music to wurm and wiggle to.

The Earwurms
Medieval science and medical journals implied that earwurms can burrow into the brain or at least into the ears and cause serious harm. This fear caused the cryptic insect a gain a dangerous reputation. Many fear that they bite people and think they should be kept far away but they actually don’t do any harm...

The Earwurms are a “conceptual” punk band, created by three accidental women. Their songs mention themes like the joy and understanding of the banal. They explore how being a woman affects their lives and how to deal with the confusion that comes along with it. With savoury words and a shebang of sound they wiggle their way into your ears

Yodel Queen
Yodel Queen is een eigenzinnig post-yodel powertrio met één been in de post-punk en één been in de biechtstoel. Haar muziek is zowel een meeslepende als ontredderende lofzang op het alledaags leven.

Milkboy
Milkboy is a three piece melodic post-punk band, currently operating from a community center in Amsterdam Noord. Due to adhd, the songs are often a chaotic back and forth between melodramatic moments and hyperactive aggression. They are sad, angry, loud yet danceable. Their self-produced EP, Kelder has been out for a while. Currently the band is recording new material inside the theatre of the aforementioned community center.

DJ Sjaak
Amsterdam based vinyl DJ Sjaak ( @bootlegsjaak ) has been actively spinning records for the past 7 years. Playing in active squats and underground venues, she is also a regular at places like Paradiso, Markt Centraal, Skate Cafe, de Nieuwe Anita and Garage Noord.

Her sets, always danceable and energetic, range from post/egg punk and rock ‘n roll to the most danceable habibi/disco funk and multiple new wave genres. If you hear a scratch in one of the records, then at least you know that music is tangible
