Steven Charlot
Steven Charlot is an Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter and producer who moves between alternative R&B, indie soul and neo-soul. With a minimalist approach and a refined voice, he creates music that feels intimate and layered. His work consists of small, self-contained worlds in which atmosphere, colour and emotion take centre stage. His lyrics are rooted in everyday experiences and personal reflections, with music serving as a form of self-medication.
With airplay on NPO Radio 2 and as an NPO Soul & Jazz tip, Steven is developing as an artist who knows how to combine subtlety and intensity. Following his debut EP ‘Society’s Face pt. I’, in which he captured a vulnerable period in his life, he returns with ‘Society’s Face pt. II’. This release marks a shift towards a brighter perspective, without losing the emotional depth that characterises his work.
