From the time he first emerged as a founding member of the seminal group Dilated Peoples, Evidence has established himself as one of hip-hop’s most accomplished rappers and producers. He has worked with The Alchemist, Action Bronson, DJ Premier, Westside Gunn, and Rapsody, and also earned a Grammy Award for co-production on Ye’s 'The College Dropout'.

His new album, 'Unlearning Vol. 2', reunites him with collaborators from across eras. Longtime associate The Alchemist furnishes four beats and also appears on ‘Rain Every Season’. Dilated’s DJ Babu provides cuts on ‘Outta Bounds’, while ‘Stay Alive’ bridges three different generations of hip-hop’s underground, with Evidence and Blu trading verses over a beat from Conductor Williams. Through it all, Evidence’s work remains united, as always, by a commitment to hip-hop’s fundamental tenets: reinvention and recontextualization, the transformation of hardship into something inspiring, and creativity above all.
