Pregnancy is a magical and vulnerable time with so many bodily, hormonal and emotional shifts. Yoga during this period can help to create a sense of peace and grounding through your pregnancy journey and provide a space where you can feel nourished and calm.

This class is designed to help create balance in the body and target key muscles to assist with optimal fetal positioning and a gentler birth. You will explore breath and movement techniques that can support you through your pregnancy and birth, in addition to developing the physical strength you will need in labour. The peaceful intimate setting of this class provides a relaxing space for you and your baby. No prior experience is necessary and all pregnant bodies and backgrounds are welcome.

Classes are offered to the community on a sliding scale as we believe that yoga should be accessible to every body. You can pay by QR code or cash at the studio using the guidelines below.

ABOUT KASHA

“I trained in prenatal yoga when I began my own pregnancy journey and found it to be a beautiful gift – to be able to support a person at such a sacred and magical time in their life. My teaching style and methods have very much been informed by my training in London with doula and birth expert Alexa Dean. This was further deepened by a series of ‘Wombs of the World’ workshops given in Berlin by indigenous midwives from Ecuador, Malaysia and Mexico, which completely transformed my understanding of birth and pregnancy and revealed to me how truly transformative and powerful these pinnacle times in a person’s life can be.

I believe that nourishing a pregnant parent and the new human life they carry can be deeply impactful for the individual and our society as a whole. I teach pregnancy yoga in the hope that I can facilitate a safe and grounding space where a parent can pause from the every day and find connection to themselves and their baby.”
