After a move across the world, LA native Austin Clarizio wrote and recorded a concept album about the phases of grieving following a traumatic breakup. Mere days after completing a rough mix of the album, he met a stranger in the Vondelpark, who happened to be a keyboard player, with a roommate who was a drummer. After playing them the album in full, they formed the international indiepop / alternative pop band stardog.
