But what if you declare yourself vogelvrij? And what if that’s actually a positive thing? What if it means you can fly (read: improvise) wherever you want, without being held back by rules, hierarchies, or road maps?
That’s exactly what the free birds Joshua Herwig (cello), Oene van Geel (viola), and Marc Sentenie (percussion) will be doing this evening. And they’ll be doing it with microphones, so that their musical fluttering, diving, and fiddling can eventually be captured on record!
