Sounding Here: Many Homes Between

Join us for a unique double bill as Rotterdam-based concert series Sounding Here visits Splendor Amsterdam. Curated by Luke Deane, this evening brings together two innovative performances exploring the theme of belonging, featuring collaborations between 10 composers, 2 poets, and pioneering artists from across the globe.
In Until Between, violinist Marie Schreer (DE/UK) presents new works by herself, Aaron Holloway-Nahum, and Ashkan Behzadi, alongside poetry by Taher Adel. This programme reflects on origin, identity, and the feeling of home through music, poetry, video and electronics.
In DOMOVY: 2 HOMES, traverso player and poet Dorota Matejová (SK/NL) explores the idea of living between cultures. Her solo performance blends voice, movement, and sound in collaboration with seven composers from Europe and beyond.
Expect an immersive, intercultural experience that invites you to reflect, share, and connect. With special contributions from actress-activist Nikki Manuputty and curator Christine Cornwell, Sounding Here promises an unforgettable evening of intimate performance and deep artistic dialogue.
