Queer Is Not Dead Fest – antifascist festival OCCII/Binnenpret, Amsterdam 29th & 30th of August.

Queer Is Not Dead Fest aims to strengthen and connect the antifascist and queer communities. The fest is volunteer-run, for free and very DIY/Do It Together.

All donations will be donated to Abortion Network Amsterdam.

The fest consists of workshops, skill sharing and parties, related to queer and antifascist topics and groups. There will be open slots for spontaneous contributions, discussions and action-planning.

You don’t need to be queer to join the fest, it’s meant to connect different political movements that engage in antifascist actions with the queer community.

Slugs, cockroaches, kliko’s, fritessaus and toxic armpits brought to you by Fishra (she/her) and B.Ruiz (they/them) in a stew of gothic utopias and stinky critique. Expect rapid words over chunky beats and catchy synth tunes with trumpet noodles. An alarm to shake you, and a lullaby to soothe you. Keep your eyes wet and your fists big.

DJ FTGRL and DJ Solame, will take you to the promised land and over the rainbow high in the sky. Expect funny, fast and hard dance music that will put a smile on your face, but will shake your body into pieces.

Patsan is an experimental punk noise rock band formed in Amsterdam 2025. We play sweet tunes, electric mad tangents, prayer screams, to share heartbreak, alienation and to get ourselves dancing.

Queer of Hearts are a Hardcore Punk/Riot Grrrrl band from Bradford, Yorkshire with sharp riffs and political lyrics. Rage on stage and love in the room.

Ryan Cassata is a community-rooted, award-winning singer-songwriter, performer, and LGBTQ+ activist whose music lives at the intersection of folk punk, indie, and protest songwriting. Signed to Kill Rock Stars, Ryan has spent over a decade building a career through touring, activism/mutual aid, and connection, with more than 865 shows played across the U.S. and internationally and eight critically acclaimed albums released.
Ryan’s songs center queer and trans lived experience, resistance, and chosen family, blending raw acoustic energy with emotionally direct lyrics meant to be sung together in crowded rooms. Ryan made history as the first openly transgender performer at the Vans Warped Tour and has performed everywhere from DIY spaces and punk clubs to festivals like SXSW, Camp Punksylvania, Punk Island NYC, Compost Heap Festival, and Global Pride.

Rainbow Monk (Anarcho Queer Hiphop, NL)
— rainbow monk (she/they) is an underground hip-hop artist who speaks to/with anarchism, transfeminism, and revolutionary joy. Her DIY act is a call for all to fight oppression and dance together for a better world.
