Prisoner Correspondence Project Amsterdam // Screening: Criminal Queers (2015)

The Prisoner Correspondence Project Amsterdam is back, and we’re hosting a screening of Criminal Queers (2015), directed by Eric A. Stanley and Chris E. Vargas. The film is 83 minutes long and explores the prison industrial complex through a queer and abolitionist lens.

Entry is by donation, and all funds raised will go directly to queer prisoners.

We’ll begin the evening with a short introduction to the Prisoner Correspondence Project, where you can learn more about the penpal project and how to get involved. After the screening, stick around to discuss the film, meet other people involved in abolitionist work, and connect with fellow abolitionists and queer allies.

We’ll also have posters available on donation from the Stop Cop City movement.
