Pleasure Providers Pillow Talks
with talks by Dinah Bons, Bishop Black & Christina Castalia
2nd of June marks the day that in 1975 over 100 sex workers occupied a church in Lyon to demand better rights, destigmatisation and the end of the incarceration of sex workers. This day became International Whores Day on which we still come together to demand better rights and destigmatisation for all forms of sex work. For the fourth time we invite sex workers, allies and those who want to get to know us to the Pleasure Providers Pillow Talks.
We have 3 amazing guests from different parts of the field that will come and share their knowledge and experiences with us. At this gathering we hand the microphone over to the sex-workers themselves, a chance to reclaim the narrative. Pleasure Providers Pillow Talks highlights the importance to listen, as well as being heard. PPPTalks aims to create a warm and secured space. Next to reflecting there will also be the celebration of the existence of whores. In our space and our day the community doesn’t have to hide, this day is ours, we are allowed to thrive.
