Welly is an extraordinary character with a remarkable literary way of describing himself, his band, and society. Like a square peg in the round hole of suburban life, Welly embraced his otherness from a young age and channeled his observations of the suburbs into songs. Smart, playful, funny, and terrifyingly astute pop songs, to be precise. He then set out to find the perfect medium to promote his work. He formed a band and released a debut album full of "democratized pop music for people who think the charts haven't been fun since Girls Aloud's 'Love Machine'.
