A promising London pop artist with influences from indie and R&B

Mulaa Joans is only nineteen, but has a voice full of soul, character and a surprising depth of experience. The London-based singer-songwriter writes about the small, relatable moments in life: relationships that change, longing, doubts and the search for peace amidst the daily chaos. She tells these stories from her own perspective, honestly and without embellishment, set to a mix of warm indie, R&B and pop. This combination has not gone unnoticed. The BBC named her ‘Artist of the Week’, and her live audience is also growing rapidly: her shows at the Zonzij and Clubzaal in Tolhuistuin sold out within a few days.
