Performance & artist talk: Katherina Gorodynska & Nikolay Karabinovych

As part of the exhibition Melted for Love, the artists Katherina Gorodynska and Nikolay Karabinovych come together for an evening of performance and conversation. Together, they explore migration, memory, and the different geographies we carry within us.

The evening begins with Open to Winds, a performance by Gorodynska in which wind becomes a metaphor for remembering. The thirty-minute performance begins inside the exhibition and continues toward the canal, carrying the work into the surrounding city.

The performance is followed by a conversation led by curator Angeliki Tzortzakaki, together with Gorodynska and Karabinovych, whose sound walk As I’m going to bed, I think of Kinkerstraat is presented as part of the exhibition.
