Selma Peelen
De muziek van Selma Peelen wordt gekenmerkt door een diep gevoel van melancholie, met een gezonde dosis woede en razernij. Fragiel en krachtig tegelijk, verrast ze met originele melodielijnen en dynamische wendingen. Ze combineert alternatieve pop-noir met elementen van folk en punk, en haar teksten behandelen thema’s als feminisme, seksuele vrijheid, zelfontdekking, het omgaan met tegenslagen en natuurlijk de kwellingen van de liefde. Haar muziek is sterk geïnspireerd door PJ Harvey, Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle en 16 Horsepower.

The Earwurms
The Earwurms are a “conceptual” punk band, created by three accidental women. Their songs mention themes like the joy and understanding of the banal. They explore how being a woman affects their lives and how to deal with the confusion that comes along with it. With savoury words and a shebang of sound they wiggle their way into your ears
