Grief Power

Grief Power

Friday 10th April from 17.00h @ Fort van Sjakoo

Feminist, queer and punk American authors come together to share new published works on the transformative power of grief, and be in conversation with one another and the audience. In many cultures grief is depressing, it’s pushed down and kept hidden. Ariel Gore, Dusty Bryndal, and Christa Orth show how grief is a powerful set of human emotions leading to personal and community transformation. Ariel, Dusty, and Christa will read from each of their works which examine full experiences of loss through unexpected lenses of humor, magic, political resistance, and joy.
