Gotu Jim went from student favourite to internet sensation to style icon. Following a steadily growing career, he broke through to a wider audience in 2024 with the track ‘Misschien (Kwijt)’, a viral TikTok hit that became the definitive festival anthem of that year. Following this, he played at all the major festivals in 2025, culminating in a packed tent at Lowlands. His latest achievement is the 2026 summer banger 'Vergeten', for which he collaborated with hitmaker Antoon. His sound is still unmistakably Jim: dark and emotional, but always with a smile and sing-along hooks.
