ENGLISH
Flow and Fire - a music and dance performance for children and their parents by Vintani Nafassi and Manuela Lucia Tessi With Flow and Fire Vintani and Manuela explore how elemental forces can function as a shared language between body, sound, and imagination, offering children an embodied entry point into rhythm, attentive listening, and collective creation. The piece is an artistic experience for the youngest and their parents, in which sound and movement are not presented as separate disciplines, but as interconnected forms of expression that emerge through play, presence, and interaction. The performance is also shaped by an intercultural and intergenerational artistic dialogue. The collaboration between Vintani and Manuela brings together distinct artistic lineages and embodied knowledge systems, creating a meeting point between Mozambican African rhythmic traditions and contemporary European performance practices. This exchange does not aim to contrast or fuse traditions, but to allow them to coexist in a shared improvisational space, where different memories and sensibilities can resonate through real-time creation.
