ArtiShock #24 Lino Workshop

VOX-POP presents ArtiShock. Every month, VOX-POP transforms the space into a workshop for chaos and creativity. From DJ classes to linocut workshops, each time you practice with a different art form. During this edition you can make your own lino cut print.

Fancy exploring the endless possibilities of linocut? Join us for a hands-on, two-hour session where you can get stuck in with linoleum, gouges, and ink. This accessible printing technique offers a world of creative potential; you can design your own imagery, experiment with typography, or use carbon paper to transfer existing designs onto the block, so there is no need to worry if you don’t consider yourself a "natural" at drawing. By the end of the workshop, you will head home with a collection of your own stunning, bespoke prints.

The workshop is hosted by Marilina and Xavier from Spotlight, the queer study association of the UvA.

Practical information

Participation is free. Doors are open at 16.30 and the workshop lasts until 18.30. Location: VOX-POP, binnengasthuisstraat 9. The workshop is in English and in Dutch.
