Acting Club Netherlands (ACN) is a community-based, English-speaking theatre group with 12 members from 7 nationalities.
Join us for another performance from The Cagebirds by David Campton, followed by a Q&A with the cast and director. We will also have a Short Scene Showcase, featuring a selection of performances by our members.
The Cagebirds talks about several women who live trapped in a locked room under the watchful eye of a Warden, each absorbed in her interest. The balance is disrupted by the arrival of a newcomer who refuses to submit to captivity. She attempts to convince others to break out of the room to find freedom. This sparks conflict among the inhabitants, culminating in a shattering conclusion.
Interested in acting or joining ACN next season? You can just stick around to meet the team and learn more. We will celebrate with a Closing Party—featuring drinks, homemade international snacks, and great company!
