ZOBAYDA is an Egyptian DJ and multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. Guided by rhythm and percussion, her sets center energy and the tradition of bringing people together. She blends sounds from the Global South and its diaspora with a disregard for strict genre boundaries. Her practice extends to photography, audio-visual direction, archiving and cultural programming. Exploring storytelling, memory,and sound as tools for gathering, reflection, and resistance.
