On January 30th, 2026, Felix Meritis welcomes a brand-new, high-energy concept brought to you by Ye Bo Game and L’ORIGINE: YƐ BƆ NWOM (“We Play Music” in Twi). This one is for the 80’s babies, 90’s kids and the 2000’s generation, designed for people who want more than “just another night out.”

You might know Ye Bo Game from their legendary social game nights, and L’ORIGINE as Amsterdam’s culture-driven brand blending music, fashion and community into one powerful lifestyle identity. With YƐ BƆ Nwom, they transform our beloved Shaffyzaal into a rhytmic playground. At the heart of the night is the DJ Battle Arena, where two DJs go head-to-head in interactive themed rounds. Expect live challenges, unexpected genre flips, and spontaneous dance-offs. Most importantly: you, the crowd, decide the outcome.

Need a breather? Head upstairs to the Game Lounge for classic games, perfect for anyone who wants to switch up the tempo, connect, and recharge while still overseeing the action below.

YE BO GAME
Ye Bo Game is a unique experience, founded by seven friends and family from Amsterdam’s Bijlmer neighborhood. Its name comes from Twi, Ghana’s widely spoken language, and means “We Play the Game.”

As a collective, Ye Bo Game brings people together through board games, card games, digital games, and XL-classics. Their inclusive events, welcoming all ages and backgrounds, create lively and playful spaces in Amsterdam and Rotterdam where everyone can connect and have fun.

The collective is powered by a team of creatives, including DJ Brightson, spinning Afrobeats, Afro House, Hip Hop, and Pop, and MC Dele Wele, who keeps the energy alive. Together, they turn every game session into a festive, unforgettable experience.

L’ORIGINE

Founded in 2015 by Dyllan Ahinful, L’ORIGINE is a community-driven brand that celebrates connection to the roots. It’s a philosophy that personal growth comes from understanding where you come from, whether it’s your country of origin, the city you’re from or childhood stories. L’ORIGINE transforms these roots into meticulously crafted garments, creative concepts, and immersive community experiences. Led by Dyllan and his nephew Ray-Jay Acheampong, the brand combines heritage, quality, and creativity to inspire everyone who experiences it.
