WRONG MAN (BE) + FEAR OF SIN (DE) + EXHALE + LEAP OF FAITH (DE) + FLYSSA (فليسة)

World’s Appreciated Kitsch celebrates 4 years of shows in Amsterdam with a stacked line-up at our favorite venue!

WRONG MAN (post-hardcore, BE, Deathwish Inc.)

Having played in previous bands like Oathbreaker, Partisan & Rise And Fall, Wrong Man formed to do something different than previous projects. Following their rocking, very ’90s inspired debut, “Who Are You?” (2022), Wrong Man expanded their sound on “Big Plans” (2023), offering more sonic pushes and pulls. “Here’s That Feeling” (2026), the band’s debut full length (released by the renowned Deathwish Inc label), sees Wrong Man sharpen its post-hardcore foundation into something more versatile and expressive, fusing urgency and melody with brooding tension, and undeniably catchy choruses. Their unique brand of soulful post hardcore is equal parts noisy and melodic, at times bluesy and moody. Depending on who you ask, you’ll hear references to bands like Quicksand & The Jesus Lizard, or Sonic Youth & The Wipers.

FEAR OF SIN (metallic hardcore, DE, DBNO Records)

New Rhineline band delivering exactly the kind of sound the name promises.

‘Fear of Sin scratch that classic Integrity itch. Victory Records would’ve snapped this up in their ’90s glory days.’ (No Echo)

Do yourself a favor and do not miss this!

EXHALE (hardcore, NL)

Raw hardcore/thrash. EXHALE is a five-piece formed in 2026, hailing from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Taking cues from Cruel Hand, No Warning, Leeway and Power Trip, EXHALE delivers groove-heavy riffs with aggression and layered vocals. Fast and dynamic, but straight to the point. Their songs deal with inner demons, dark thoughts and the struggle within. Dragging you into the depths of your own mind.

FLYSSA (dark punk / d-beat, NL)

Fresh blood in the scene, Flyssa (فليسة) started a few months ago in Amsterdam after meeting in the local DIY scene. Influenced by a chaotic assembly of bands, ranging from Siouxsie and the Banshees through Vex to Siekiera and Anti Cimex, the best way to describe their sound is “a mix between post-punk and d-beat”. Expect short and fast songs in minor modes with lots of chorus floating around. Their lyrics are sung in Algerian Darija and English, reflecting issues they care about, like building safer communities, as well as things that horrify them like patriarchy or the various forms imperialism can take.
