About the Workshop

Your plants are growing, but struggling with pests? Learn about natural methods to combat plant diseases and pests with a homemade, eco-friendly spray.

In this workshop, you’ll learn about small insects that can infest your indoor and outdoor plants. Through practical demonstrations and hands-on experience, you’ll learn how to get started at home and contribute to a more sustainable and greener living environment in Amsterdam-Noord. You will go home with your own ecological plant spray made with neem oil.

Location

The workshops take place in the circular greenhouse at De Ceuvel. This inspiring learning environment is used to experiment with innovative ways to grow plants.

Preparation

No prior knowledge is required. The design of these workshops, combined with the experience of teacher Andrei, makes them accessible to anyone interested in growing food at home and “getting their hands dirty.” We will provide gardening gloves, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please wear clothing that can get dirty.

This gardening workshop is part of a series of three. The workshops can be attended individually. Can’t make it this time? A new series will be offered after the summer.
