One thing has remained true for the past twenty years at Wende’s concerts and festival performances: anyone who has seen her live never forgets it. As a multidisciplinary pop artist, she moves effortlessly between music, theatre and dance. Since 2003, she has released eight albums and won Edisons in several categories. In recent years, Wende has been very much in the spotlight with her EPs ‘Vrijplaats’ (2024) and ‘Vrijplaats II’ (2025). To mark these releases, she played no fewer than nineteen nights at a sold-out Carré, with guests including Sef, MEROL, Jacqueline Govaert, Antoon and Naaz. This was followed by a sold-out tour of the Netherlands and Belgium.
Now Wende is returning with a new tour to promote her new pop album ‘Er Is Nog Tijd’, due for release in January 2027. As part of this tour, she will be performing at Paradiso for three evenings in February.
