🔥✊🏿Call out for solidarity with our trans sister María Cristina🔥✊🏿
We are calling for solidarity on behalf of our friend and sister María Cristina, who is currently being held in custody in the Stadelheim prison in Munich!
María Cristina was violently arrested as a Black trans migrant woman.
As always, the racist and transphobic judicial system is particularly structured against queer BPoCs (Black and People of Colour). Individuals such as Maria Cristina find themselves in extremely precarious and unprotected situations.
At this moment, we know little about the accusations held against her and her current conditions. She is being detained in the male section of the prison. For a trans woman, this is a violent act and puts her in acute danger of phsyical, mental and emotional unsafety. She might also be more vulnerable because of her immigration status.
Maria is such an important person to many in our community, she is an amazing housemate, friend and great cook and she makes life so much brighter for all of us. Our heart is hurting knowing that she is detained and we are very worried for her.
We are organizing letters of solidarity for Maria Christina, please write some warm words – preferably in Spanish, but English is also possible. Put the letter in the feedback box or behind the bar at the lesbian-queer center Lez (Müllerstrasse 26, Thursday 18-22 h, Friday and Saturday 18-23 h) or in the queerfeminist bookstore Glitch (Barerstr. 70, Tuesday – Saturday, 11-19 h). You can also post letters to both addresses!

Wir rufen zur Solidarität mit unserer Freundin und Schwester María Cristina auf, die derzeit im Stadelheimer Gefängnis in München festgehalten wird!
María Christina wurde als migrantische Schwarze Transfrau gewaltsam festgenommen
Wieder einmal gefährdet das rassistische und transphobe Justizsystem besonders queere BPoCs (Black and People of Colour). Dadurch finden Menschen wie Maria Cristina sich in extrem prekäre und ungeschützte Situationen.
Derzeit wissen wir wenig über die Vorwürfe, die gegen sie erhoben werden und über ihre aktuellen Bedingungen. Sie ist in der Männerabteilung des Gefängnisses inhaftiert. Für eine Transfrau ist dies eine Gewalttat und bringt sie in akute körperliche, geistige und emotionale Unsicherheit. Sie könnte aufgrund ihres Einwanderungsstatus besonders gefährdet sein.
Maria ist für viele eine sehr wichtige Person, sie ist eine großartige Mitbewohnerin, Freundin und Köchin und macht uns allen das Leben so viel leichter. Es schmerzt uns sehr zu wissen, dass sie hinter Gittern ist, und wir machen uns große Sorgen um sie.
Wir organisieren Solidaritätsbriefe für Maria Cristina. Bitte schreibt ein paar herzliche Worte – vorzugsweise auf Spanisch, aber auch auf Englisch ist möglich. Ihr könnt den Brief in der Feedback-Box oder hinter die Theke im Lesben-Queer-Zentrum Lez abgeben (Müllerstraße 26, Donnerstag 18-22 Uhr, Freitag und Samstag 18-23 Uhr) oder in der queerfeministischen Buchhandlung Glitch. Ihr könnt auch an beide Adressen Briefe schicken.

🔥✊🏿 Llamado a la solidaridad con nuestra hermana trans María Cristina 🔥✊🏿
¡Hacemos un llamado de solidaridad en nombre de nuestra amiga y hermana María Cristina, que actualmente se encuentra detenida en la prisión de Stadelheim, en Múnich!
María Cristina es una mujer trans negra que fue detenida de forma violenta.
Como siempre, el sistema judicial racista, trans y putofóbico está especialmente estructurado en contra de personas racializadas y sin papeles. Personas como María Cristina están por lo tanto en situaciones extremadamente precarias y desprotegidas.
En este momento, sabemos poco sobre las acusaciones que se le imputan y sus condiciones actuales. Solo sabemos encuentra detenida en la sección masculina de la prisión. Al ser una mujer trans, esto es un acto violento y la pone en grave peligro de inseguridad física, mental y emocional. También podría ser más vulnerable debido a su situación migratoria.
María es una persona muy importante para nuestra comunidad, es una compañera de piso increíble, una gran amiga y una excelente cocinera, con su alegría nos hace la vida mucho más fácil a todxs. Nos duele el corazón saber que está detenida y estamos muy preocupadxs por ella.
Estamos organizando cartas de solidaridad para María Cristina, por favor, escriban algunas palabras cariñosas, preferiblemente en español, pero también se puede escribir en inglés. Deja la carta en el buzón de sugerencias o detrás de la barra del centro lésbico-queer Lez (Müllerstrasse 26, jueves de 18 a 22 h, viernes y sábado de 18 a 23 h) o en la librería queerfeminista Glitch (Barerstr. 70, de martes a sábado, de 11 a 19 h). ¡También puedes enviar las cartas por correo a ambas direcciones!
