Simone Honijk has graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory (Jazz vocals) at the age of 42. For many years she performed at the jazz venues and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad with her own bands or as a guest vocalist. She has initiated different projects with bands as also musical theatre programs about the life and music of Stephen Sondheim and Duke Ellington (B. Strayhorn) and recorded 4 albums. This year she's preparing a 5th album with arrangements of the music of Sting.
