Video screening evening

Die Verabredung and Rozenstraat are excited to collaborate on a special video evening in conjunction with Julika Rudelius’ exhibition The Seamless Real.

This spontaneous collaboration brings together two art spaces that share a passion for video and performance art, as well as a longstanding admiration for Julika Rudelius’ work. So far, John Jesurun, George Kuchar, Mara McKevitt, and Stefan Ramírez Pérez have confirmed their participation, with more artists to be announced.

The evening promises a program of experimental videos and films that may differ in style and form, yet are united by their exploration of power and authority, constructions of gender, the tension between control and chaos, and the seductive nature of power.
