Trans Femme & Women’s Day: Conversation with authors of Trans Femme Futures

Trans Femme & Women’s Day at Nieuwland 8 March from 6pm
As part of the 8 March celebrations, we invite you to come together at Nieuwland to be in conversation with Nat Raha and Mijke van der Drift -
the authors of the recent book Trans Femme Futures.
In this book the authors talk about movement work, abolitionist ideas in social organising and what it would mean to take the insights from trans femme lives and apply them to our wider activism. Nat and Mijke have intended the book to be a conversation starter - rather than a definitive statement on trans lives and activism. Coming together and discussing trans lives, loves, and connections makes all the difference! For this conversation we gather from 6pm at Nieuwland, have soup, and talk with each other, and share thoughts on the book, or a part of the book, and compare it to other experiences and insights.
All are welcome. Please send an email to jack.nieuwland@disroot.org to register.
