Tincturen maken | Workshop
In this workshop, you dive into the age-old technique of tincture-making. We work with native plants that can be found literally around the corner, and teach you how to harvest, process, and turn them into a powerful, long-lasting extract for home use.
Think of nettle, the plant you probably gave a wide berth as a kid, but which is packed with iron and vitamin C. Or elderflower, known for its delicious syrup, which has supported immune systems for generations. Or red clover, with its distinctive purple-pink flower heads, a plant you'll come across in many an old herbal book and tradition, noted for skin support.
Beyond the practical skills, this workshop is above all an invitation to reconnect: with nature, with the knowledge of the past, and with your own ability to care for yourself. You'll go home with your own homemade tincture and the knowledge to do it again and again. All materials are taken care of for you. All you need to bring is an open ear and a listening heart!
Marsha Peters is a writer and herbalist who enjoys passing on her knowledge of these age-old techniques in order to keep them alive.
