ELEVEN YEARS THE CEUVEL!
Come visit our ecological hub during the day, where there’s plenty to see, do, and experience. Get inspired by sustainability, music, activities on the boats, or dive into our history and join the brainstorm about the future of the Ceuvel. There’s a fun program for kids, and you can even take a swim from our docks.
As evening falls, the music program kicks off: come dance to live music or spicy beats, spread across the Veranda, the Secret Garden Stage, and our Café. There’s something to discover everywhere!

- For the evening program from 17:00 to 03:00, tickets are available for €25 per person.

LIQUID SUN ORCHESTRA
Liquid Sun Orchestra is an energetic and multicultural band from Leiden and Rotterdam, playing an uplifting blend of afrobeat, jazz, funk, soul, dub, and reggae. Deeply inspired by Nigerian master Fela Kuti, their music is known for its danceable and hypnotic grooves. Perfect for the birthday bash!
TABANKA
Yes yes, Tabanka has already rocked the Veranda before, and they’re more than welcome to do it again! Tabanka is a high-energy Cape Verdean band from Rotterdam known for their modern take on *funaná* — an exhilarating and danceable music style from the Cape Verdean island of Santiago. Once banned by Portuguese colonial rulers, funaná became a cornerstone of Cape Verdean identity after independence in the 1980s. The style blends traditional rhythms with pop and jazz influences, and is characterized by the use of the diatonic accordion (*gaita*) and the *ferrinho*, a scraped metal rod. Let’s go!
SHADY LADY [DJ]
Shady Lady performances are more than DJ sets—they’re full-blown shows with dancing, extravagant outfits, and lip-syncing—a flamboyant journey through time, from glittery 70s disco and sensual 80s Italo to groovy 90s house and soulful deep house. Expect funky basslines, captivating vocals, and a vibe that feels both retro and fresh. With roots in the queer scene and a flair for the theatrical, Shady Lady blends music, attitude, performance, and aesthetics into one fabulous experience where dance floors become stages and celebration meets liberation!
DJ Gangsters d’Amour
From deep soul to sparkling disco, from old-school hip-hop to steamy house beats: DJ Gangsters d’Amour mixes it all into one irresistible dancefloor journey. Her sets are eclectic, energetic, and always lovingly curated—whether you’re here for the groove, the shine, or just to dance.
Don’t expect the usual hits, but a unique blend of funk, dance, soul, and everything in between. A night with Gangsters d’Amour is a celebration of music and a party for your feet!
FAKRUTU
Fasciani/Kruger/Tuinstra :: FaKruTu – a witty guitar trio. Inspired by the angularity of Thelonious Monk, the harmonies of Igor Stravinsky, the sounds of contemporary electronic music, and African rhythms, they venture into a new sonic universe. They experiment with hop & bop, bass and rhythm, a touch of bleep and Woo. FaKruTu: jazz with a wink and a growl.
Amsterjam
AmsterJam is a musical playground and meeting place for both musicians and the audience. It’s described as a “musical campfire”: warming and connecting. Everyone’s welcome to join in, enjoy, and dance. Bring your instrument and let’s jam!
The Bucket Boyz
The Bucket Boyz from Amsterdam bring a loud and rowdy mix of anarcho-folk, street punk, and their own “blue trash” style. With banjo, gutbucket (a bucket with a string), chopsticks, and raspy harmonies, they create raw, rhythmic music with a hefty punk attitude. Their shows are super energetic and interactive—think clapping along, mosh pits, and plenty of social commentary!
RADIO TNP
Radio TNP, short for Radio Tempo Não Pára, is an independent radio station based in Amsterdam. The name, coined by the founder’s mother, symbolizes the enduring and infinite friendship between them.
At De Ceuvel, three DJs from this collective will rock the Metabolic building:
MOSAIC MAN – Head of Amsterdam-based Radio Tempo Não Pára, leaves no stone unturned in his search for fresh music. His always-obscure selections never fail to surprise and move people—whether with sweet melodies or heavy beats.
REDLEG ON A ROLL – Amsterdam DJ and vinyl collector shining a light on overlooked music.
SOUL CASE – DJ and promoter from Skopje. Founder of Oubli Music, Amok Radio, and Amok Bar.
