Team Recorder Playing Day

Team Recorder Playing Day

Calling all recorder players: come and join the Team Recorder Orchestra!

Team Recorder is the destination for all things recorder – and this year the Youtube channel will turn 10 years old! Te celebrate this special milestone, conductor and recorder player Sarah Jeffery is celebrating with a playing day, open to recorder players of (almost) all abilities. Bring your recorders along and join in – after all, playing together is the most fun one can have! We will explore a range of music from the Renaissance and Baroque to the music of today. At the end of the afternoon, Sarah will round off the day with a short solo concert.

Practical info:
-You will receive sheet music on the day itself.
-Please bring all the sizes of recorder you’d like to play. Most of the music is for SATB, but larger sizes such as the great bass and contrabass and very welcome!
-The level is intermediate+. Have you been playing for just a year? I’ll make sure there are simpler parts for you. Are you already almost pro? I’ll make sure you have a challenge from time to time!
