Suburbia x Strange Therapy: Death Disco (Samuel Kerridge x Maxim Barron) + Mai Mai Mai (IT) + Constanza Castagnet

Two of Amsterdam’s sonic hawkers, Strange Therapy and Suburbia, clash for a night of dissonant ritualistic noise, intense electronics, and gritty punk mayhem. The event unfolds at OCCII on February 1st, 2025.
DEATH DISCO (UK)
Together, Samuel Kerridge and Maxim ‘Panda’ Barron conspire against the living with their electrifying new project, Death Disco.
Drawing deeply from the rebellious roots of punk and the DIY ethos, the duo has crafted with their debut album ‘Death Notes’ (brought by Downwards and Strange Therapy), a sense of urgency and authenticity. Samuel’s fierce vocal work and electronics gives the album an emotional depth that goes beyond its aggressive nature, while Maxim’s pulsating rhythms keep cutting through the atmosphere with skin-stripping power. Death Disco moves through different experiences and paces, carving out an unique norm in an equally unsettling and uncompromising sonic world.

MAI MAI MAI (IT)
MAI MAI MAI is an Audio/Video project by Toni Cutrone, weaving together the sounds and imagery of a dark journey through the traditions and folklore of Southern Italy and the Mediterranean . It embodies a Mediterranean Hauntology that, far from being merely nostalgic, loudly awakens those Spectres it speaks of and summons them to accompany us in our daily lives.
