Sound Meditation (Sound Bathing)
A deep listening experience with singing bowls, drum, flute, gong, chimes and voice, guiding participants through vibration towards calm and awareness. Ideal for individuals or groups seeking stillness, clarity and an inner reset. Based on the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine around seasonal and elemental changes that support the flow of energy and the body’s natural healing process.
Practical info
- Wear comfortable and warm clothing. Extra warmth is recommended, as it can get quite chilly on the boat; think of a hot water bottle and thick socks.
- Bring your own yoga mat or cushion. (Let me know if you cannot bring one, we have a few available to borrow)
- Please arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes in advance, walk in at 19:00 / the session starts at 19:15 / ends at 20:15.
- Payment is based on a sliding scale; you can make a donation before or during the session.
About Judy Young
Judy Young is a movement teacher, performer and meditation guide. In her work, she combines yoga, somatic practices, dance and sound meditation to support body awareness, wellbeing and creative expression. With over ten years of experience in the movement arts, twelve years of yoga experience and six years of experience in sound meditation, she explores the connection between movement, mindfulness and personal development. She currently teaches at Yoga School Noord and studies Chinese Medicine in Amsterdam.
