Reading/performance by Çağlar Köseoğlu and Saverio Cantoni
Location: Amstelkerk, Amstelveld 10
‘throw a stone: Ramallah looks violet from the night of justice’ is a live reading and sonic performance by poet Çağlar Köseoğlu and sound artist Saverio Cantoni. Structured around four poems engaging the ongoing war and genocide in Palestine—taken from Köseoğlu’s manuscript our love is terroristic—the work treats text as a live score, improvising across voice and sound in real time. Following its initial iteration at the 2025 Jan van Eyck Academie Open Studios, this second iteration marks the first time the piece is performed in English.
After the talk Çağlar Köseoğlu and Saverio Cantoni will be in conversation with curators Sanneke Huisman and belit sağ.
