Radio/K invites: Prime8 & Joya Astou

(Re)introducing: Radio/K. After over a year of absence, our very own radio station will make a return starting March 17th, moving from our upstairs lounge SK5 to our café. Every other Monday, we’ll be inviting upcoming music artists to play a set, as well as pop-up-kitchens, poets and/or visual artists. Performances will be fully accessible to be watched live on location, as well as livestreamed on our Youtube channel. Come see, taste and listen and get inspired by the talent in our community!

This edition of Radio/K will feature Prime8 and Joya Astou, who will be warming you up for their sets during our King’s Night K+Peren club night on April 25th.

Prime8 is a Lebanese creative that seeks to blend mind-warping experimental sounds and vocals with more polished, dark bass-lines and kicks to create a groovy, hypnotic and primal scene on the dance floor.
To dance is to love.

JOYA ASTOU is an Amsterdam-based DJ whose sound bridges her Senegalese roots with darker, minimal electronic influences. Her sets are a captivating blend of tribal rhythms, fast-paced beats, and a hint of sultry energy, creating an engaging and dynamic atmosphere.
