Rachel Zhang - Marimba Class Concert Next Gen

New compositions for marimba and vibraphone by emerging young talents

Students from Rachel Zhang’s marimba class at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam present a programme of original compositions and arrangements, performed as part of the TROMP Next Gen competition.

Rachel Zhang: “It is incredibly exciting to hear these new compositions. Marimba and vibraphone players composing and arranging their own music, much like singer-songwriters, mark the beginning of a new generation of percussionists.”
