Following a sold-out show at Tolhuistuin, Rachel Chinouriri is returning to Amsterdam. On 21 June 2027, the London-based indie pop artist will perform at our Main Hall with her sophomore album, 'I think I spoke too soon'.
Chinouriri made her breakthrough in 2022 with ‘So My Darling’ and established her reputation with her debut album ‘What A Devastating Turn Of Events’ (2024), which was nominated for two Brit Awards. With her second album, she’s striking out in a new direction: shimmering synths, danceable disco and catchy melodies nod to the 1980s, whilst the songs tell of chaotic nights, turbulent romances and the highs and lows of growing up. The result is pop that draws you onto the dance floor, with lyrics in which you can easily recognise yourself.
