Exhibition Opening & Fundraising Screening Programme
Created during the ongoing war in Ukraine, QUEER.WAR.ARCHIVE brings together artworks, films and testimonies exploring queer experiences shaped by war, displacement, intimacy and biopolitical conflict.
The project reflects onqueer life at the frontline, while refusing to reduce queer existence to survival alone. Instead, it documents the ways people continue to create meaning, relationships, communities and futures under extraordinary circumstances
All profits from ticket sales, together with an additional on-site fundraiser, will support Violetta — a Ukrainian soldier, drone pilot, participant of the QUEER.WAR.ARCHIVE project, and currently undergoing cancer treatment.
Around 2000 EUR has already been raised through community efforts, but treatment is ongoing and further support is still needed.
