Opening ENTER/PUBLIC/SPACE – exhibition and performance festival
We warmly invite you to the opening of Enter/Public/Space and Enter/Public/Stage, a group exhibition and four-day performance festival curated by Sanneke Huisman and belit sağ.
With this project, ROZENSTRAAT continues its engagement with performance in public space and video art in general.
Taking Esther Polak’s AmsterdamREALTIME (2002) as its starting point, the exhibition and performance festival bring together videos, performances, readings, tours, and workshops that consider public space as both stage and subject. The participating artists explore the performativity of the body, presence in public spaces, and the political dimensions of urban design and technology.

About Human.VPN by Marina Orlova:
Human.VPN explores the distinction between a person’s emotional and physical location, offering a critical examination of the politics of digital mapping. Two dancers, Marina Orlova and Asya Deinekina, interact with a projected digital map of the world, tracing physical and digital paths through it as if moving through a comic strip. Described as a ‘collective geography self-study’, the piece suggests that shared geopolitical disorientation — and not-knowing — can become a source of togetherness.
