Onda Collective Fundraiser

Onda Collective Fundraiser

Indigenous groups in Brazil suffer from a silent humanitarian crisis and displacement. Lands which belong to them under national law are constantly violated, with their houses burnt down, community members killed and religious spaces vandalized. The common perpetrators are large scale farmers who want to log, burn and use their forests for plantations. This Crisis is ongoing for the last decades and barely gets any attention from international or even national media. This fundraiser is an effort to support them financially with rebuilding houses, protesting, and for their upcoming assembly gathering (biggest indigenous assembly gathering In the world).

Expect a night with brazilian electronic music from all corners of the country - funk, brega, arrocha, and more.

Onda Collective is a group formed mostly by Brazilians living and creating within Amsterdam’s underground scene. We value our social and cultural roots, and also use our shows as a platform to fund locally-led initiatives in Brazil and to support assemblies advocating for Indigenous rights. We believe that the world needs to know more about what goes on in the lands that belong to the real natives of Brazil
