Wärnheim / Rave / Mulder / de Joode / Jaspers is a newly founded multigenerational quintet of improvisers based in Amsterdam, gathering around the compositions of Swedish alto saxophonist Marcus Wärnheim. Encompassing the musicians' rich experiences and diverse backgrounds, they come together in a brew of jazz, free jazz, contemporary classical music and musical games. The result is adventurous, cathartic and playful.
