Greening up and volunteering together
Eleven years ago we built De Ceuvel together: a sustainable oasis in Amsterdam Noord where nature and community are at the heart of everything. This spring we’re joining NLdoet again and rolling up our sleeves together.
On this day, volunteers will help green up and maintain the site. We’ll plant native, organic plants that support biodiversity and do light maintenance tasks such as cleaning, tidying up, and small repairs around the grounds.
Everyone can join; no experience is needed. We’ll provide guidance, materials, and a good atmosphere. Together we’ll work outdoors, meet each other, and continue building De Ceuvel as a green and welcoming place
About NL-DOET
Every year in March, the Oranje Fonds organises this major volunteering campaign. NLdoet puts volunteering in the spotlight and, through a public campaign, encourages as many people in the Netherlands as possible to volunteer for a day and make a difference. In 2026, NLdoet is scheduled for 13 and 14 March. On www.nldoet.nl anyone can sign up as a volunteer for a fun volunteering activity in their local area.
