Men*, Accountability and the Anti-Patriarchal Struggle

At the very beginning of the workshop series menSEN asks everyone to reflect on their past and present within a patriarchal world. We start off with two exercises that deal with perpetual violence on an individual level and a systemic scale. We ask ourselves what our experiences have been navigating this world and try to see the complex ways in which a society that punishes non-cis-men shapes who we are. What follows these exercises is a semi-guided discussion so that we can unpack all that has resurfaced in our minds. Providing a caring and loving environment where accountability can prosper and become a motivation to forge a new and healthier society!

We use men* to include all experiences and understandings of masculinity and especially encourage men* to join though this event is open to all genders!
