Makram A.Hosn Octopus Band
In 2016, Makram graduated from the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen. Since then, he has remained active as a composer and bassist, mainly in Beriut, Lebanon. Almost ten years after graduating, he returns to the Netherlands to play a selection of original music and arrangements tailored to a group of improvisers with his old and new friends.
The Octopus band is Beirut's largest and most dynamic jazz ensemble that is now taking on its new form in Amsterdam.
