Make your own protest sign

Join us at De Ceuvel the day before the demo—Saturday 17 May—to create your own protest sign for “The Red Line.” It’s a chance to come together and raise our voices for a fairer world. Can’t attend the demonstration yourself? No problem—make a sign anyway and someone will carry it for you.

We’ll supply cardboard, paint, and markers, but feel free to bring any materials of your own.

About the demonstration

On Sunday, 18 May, thousands of people dressed in red will form a red line in The Hague. The Schoof cabinet has sunk below moral and legal limits: despite Israel’s ongoing violations of the laws of war, our government refuses to draw a red line or take action to end impunity and complicity—ignoring the call of a large majority of Dutch citizens. We will not accept this. Together, we form “The Red Line.”

The action is an initiative of a broad coalition of civil‐society organisations and thousands of concerned citizens. Over 15,000 people have already registered. Participants will walk from the Malieveld to the Peace Palace and back.
