What is Live Coding?

At Live Coding events, also known as Algoraves, music and visuals are coded live. The performers are coders who adjust rhythm, pitch and visuals in real-time by changing lines of their code and writing algorithmic compositions. By sharing their screens they invite the audience to read along and explore how each musical element and visual is crafted through code.

Live Coding Sessions is organised by Saskia Freeke, Klasien van de Zandschulp and Sabrina Verhage.

Doka is the home base for immersive – sonic –experiences. The underground and intimate sound bar is the place where nightlife, music and other forms of culture blend together. Limited capacity, maximum vibes.
