Late Night Drive Home is a self-taught indie rock band hailing from El Paso and Chaparral, composed of vocalist Andre Portillo, drummer Brian Dolan, and bassist Freddy Baca. Deeply shaped by growing up online, their debut album 'as I watch my life online' (Epitaph) explores the blurred lines between digital personas and lived experience. Mixing early-2000s indie with grunge-laced textures, the record presents a series of vignettes about internet life — sometimes from the outside looking in, sometimes from the inside out.
After rising to fame with their viral hit 'Stress Relief' and performing at festivals like Coachella and Austin City Limits, the band has solidified their place among a new wave of introspective indie artists. Produced by Sonny Diperri, the album reflects both their growth and roots. On 6 November, they’ll bring their raw honesty and nostalgic riffs to Melkweg — a night of bold guitars, digital disillusionment, and fresh indie energy.
