Kurumbu presents At Home, this time at our friends’ place, Murmur.
Inspired by the Punjabi phrase ghar di gall, a feeling of warmth, closeness, and truly being at home, we’re bringing that same energy back to Amsterdam. Think shared living room vibes: familiar faces, new connections, and an easy sense of belonging.
Music flows from day into night with special guests Mo Wrights, Khush, and Aniketh. Eclectic, South Asian sounds, and traditions of music rooted in the Indian subcontinent and the diaspora. Expect dub, acid house, traditional ragas, to Bombay drill, hip hop, and more.
On food, Arunjit and Aniketh serve a Kenyan-Punjabi BBQ, sunny and outdoor, rooted in the spirit of Indian family gatherings where food brings everyone together.
There will chai, carrom boards for some playful competition, prints for sale, and more.

16:00 Opens with chai and munh meetha (a mouth full of sugar) with indian sweets.
17:30 – 21:00 Kenyan-Punjabi BBQ with Arunjit and Aniketh.
18:00 – 01:00 Music by Mo Wrights, Khush and Aniketh.
