Over the years, Kurt Vile has built up a considerable reputation with his dreamy and psychedelic bedroom pop and indie Americana. Since 2009, Kurt has been joined on stage by The Violators, and this inspiring collaboration led to Kurt’s true breakthrough album, ‘Smoke Ring For My Halo’ (2011). According to Vile, his new album, 'Philadelphia’s been good to me', will be his most complete record to date. “This is my ‘bringing it all back home to Philly’ record,” says the songwriter. “I’m treating it like my last one. I put everything into it. It’s my best vocal record. It’s my best electric guitar record. It’s my most organic record, made in the comfort of my own zone.”
